Would a diverter valve work? Just have a change over switch in cab and use same controls for working the grab? It would be cheapest way and probably be easier than fitting another spool

That looks like what I need. I couldn't think what it was called
Cheers

Yes you have yo have a diverter valve really. Or a hyd tech real on side of boom but there awfull things.
A bluetooth diverter valve would be the tits? probably dont exist yet though? Save hassle with wiring that's for sure.

Manitou do a kit for diverter valve on boom neck but probably cheaper to just make up your own.

See them on Internet 6 way diverter with a solinoid for anything between 200 and 600.

Normal ones or bluetooth?

It wouldnt surprise me if someone launched a telehandler with all the joystick controls sent via bluetooth signal soon! No more wires for vermin to chew or corrode etc?

Sounds great idea to me and so easy to customize machines too?

Just normal ones which I would have to route a wire through.
Bluetooth always seems reliable enough and I can remember using it 15 year ago so not new technology
