You mean those with a vested interest in selling us a (generally expensive) alternative?

My vet seems to have allowed for the reduction in AB usage, as I see the price of Alamycin LA has gone up by 50% recently, albeit still below some of the prices for it quoted on here.
I can’t comment on dairy, pigs and poultry, but I don’t think vets push antibiotics at beef and sheep farmers anymore.
10-15 years ago I think the did, but they have headed down the vaccination route now.

AFAIK, the certification has to be since 2016. Which makes it even more of a rip off, given that over time, you've done more injections and vax procedures than many young vets have had hot dinners.
Last year I went to hospital witha deep cut on my leg (remind me not to put my leg near the knives on the bedder rotor in future.) ,the nurse was a trainee and was farting around with the local anaesthetic syringe before stitching,I felt like saying ‘give it here’.

I really was being practiced on. :nailbiting:

I had to have Heparin injections for 6-8 months after a series of major ops.
I got so bruised with ham fisted nursing staff, I did opt to do them myself. No different from sub-cut cattle vaccines really. But I doubt that will count as 'training' either.
