Fabricating your own sheds / CE marking

We have made a few steel frame buildings in the past, medium sized (100' X 50' & 80' X 60')
For ourselves, not commercially.

If we make more in future, is it possible to get them CE marked & how would we go about it. We rent a workshop to a steel fabricator who assists & lets us use his bandsaws etc, so no bodging, they are well made sheds.

Thanks

You can make your own without them being ce marked

Think CE accreditation pertains to the design and manufacturing process as a whole, rather than getting frames "stamped" on an individual basis.

You will be fine to fabricate for yourself, but to cover yourself get your frames designed by a structural engineer and keep the calcs on record. £500 well spent, especially if you ever need to make an insurance claim.
Is that £500 just for the calcs or do you do full fabrication drawings as well ?

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.

This webinar will be...
