In the clutch housing there is a plate with ten bolts with the shafts coming through on my tractor it's letting oil on to the clutch I'm thinking the seal is gone on the shaft so I was wondering what is behind that plate and can I remove it without the gearbox falling out into the bell housing iv the cab jacked up and bolts out as iv the thrust bearing cross shaft has to be removed to slide the plate offI'll have a look.whats the problem with yours
Make sure you screw out the stack pipe on your right as you look in .the cab bracket has to come off to do this then you have a circlip on the shaft which needs to come off take out the ring of 6ml bolts and use 3 in the threaded holes to pull out housing what's inside is the hi lo but you don't have to touch it and always put a new genuine o ring where the stack pipe goes in I hope that helpsIn the clutch housing there is a plate with ten bolts with the shafts coming through on my tractor it's letting oil on to the clutch I'm thinking the seal is gone on the shaft so I was wondering what is behind that plate and can I remove it without the gearbox falling out into the bell housing iv the cab jacked up and bolts out as iv the thrust bearing cross shaft has to be removed to slide the plate off
