Hi dry rot.
At my age, that’s the only stalking I’m interested in !!!

You've obvious;ly not been following the lynx survey thread! The title of this thread reminded me of one of the main contributors and I was hoping there might be some stalking on offer!!

The first deer I ever shot was a fallow.

Thanks, but my stalking days are over. I controlled deer on my neighbour's 600 acres of young forestry, but as I told him at my time of life it is a chore, not a pleasure. However, we did a deal. I'd gamekeep, control the deer and foxes, and even put down a few birds for his family days in return for being allowed to catch a dozen or so pheasants with my goshawk and dogs. A few years living the dream!:)

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.

This webinar will be...
