Ronnie Finney, would probably have to give card details over the phone, as he's the other side of the pond from me, but if I thought he was a member of the travelling community. ,,,barge pole,,

Not sure
Are Edward and Ronnie from the same company then? Seen them advertising a lot, every advertisement sounds like a clearance sale with pictures of piles of stock!!

Ad in the Yorkshire Post yesterday. Ronnie Finney. No website, no landline, no address, just a mobile number.

Special offer this month only, although the offer was the same last month, Mobile sheep system from £1450 + vat (RRP from£3400 + vat) sounds more like a double glazing advert.

Had Finney in the yard last yr, with a load of stuff on his lorry. Tried telling us his dad/grandad used to call and sell us gates years ago, yet dad had never heard of him. We were semi interested in a calving gate he had on, he'd do this deal and that deal of we had it there and then. We didn't have anything off him, and he's never been back since. Definite irish/traveller twang to him.
He advertises on Facebook as Premier Gate Supplies Ltd.

Think we'll stick with Batemans et al, atleast I know we'll have some back up if theres ever a problem.

There’s a Finney comes up here but it’s neither of them, must be a relation as he dresses like a country Gent! I usually buy a couple of sheep hurdles off him. Every time you say no he says “it is” and try’s again!

We get lots of travellers around here selling tools and gates and the likes (only select ones allowed in) but they have disappeared since COVID-19 arrived but then again they were all older men. Never heard of an Irish traveller name of finney in this part of the world and we are only 10 miles from largest population of travellers in Ireland!!

I thought the chap mentioned was local to us here. I had him round a couple of times but not bought anything. He was so keen to sell to one lad I know he said you buy x,y and z and give me a cheque dated whenever you like. Lad dated it for about 14 months ahead!!!

We had Edward Finney in the yard. As above very pushy. I mentioned on the phone I might take a few more hurdles and he tried to make me take another 10. He sailed very close to loosing the whole deal.

the gates are of a decent quality though in all fairness but too heavy for dairy heifer penning.

Saw him advertising on facebook with some hurdles that looked cheap, gave him my number and was aggressively selling on the phone; think best avoided to be honest
