There’s not nearly enough carbs in that.

im actually making conscious effort to reduce carbs & eliminate sugar ( I will "carb load" with pasta though if I know I am going to be needing it )
Animal proteins & fats, along with fresh veggies are definitely on the menu though

( I get more than enough carbs in beer, just quietly :ROFLMAO: )

It’s not so bad when you are there. Once it is bellow -25 it all feels the same. I spent a winter at uni in Minneapolis and we had -40 with a -40 wind chill. We used start our cars then go back inside until they warmed up. Than drove to uni where we spend the day in heater rooms. The jacket I wore there and kept me warm does not keep me warm in winter here.

-25 only feels like -40 if you’re in it for the length of time it takes to walk to your car...

This graphic from the article explains it well. No matter how cold the damp in the UK might feel to you, it’s not freeze your skin so it dies in 5 minutes cold.

And if you were outside for more than 50 feet to the car I can guarantee you’d be wearing more than a jacket.

When its been -40 for a while would have thought 0 to -9 would be very
comfortable
