yeah, grilled it is great for adding flavour & contrast in meals, packs a big punch

Avocado, poached egg, grilled haloumi, kale, mushrooms, chorizo & brown rice. Packs a big taste punch & believe me, it's very hearty, a real keep you going all day meal ( my next meal was about 10 hrs later )

How long till the food starts running short with the drought?

Pretty sure avocados grow in other countries as well as Australia.

People will still starve or not, as Agrispeed says corruption and poor logistics ensure it will happen regardless of production levels

It was a logistics or distribution problem though wasn't it, not a lack of chicken as such ?
About 30 - 50 % of the "food" produced in the world is wasted or thrown out anyway isn't it ?

hmm - I just had an excellent chicken, roast pumpkin , pine nut, felafel, spinach leaves & rocket, grilled haloumi & the dreaded avocado, salad for lunch today

I do love a salad - so much diversity, flavours & textures in a good one. So versatile & a really great selection of salad "greens" available now. Cant remember the last time I had a boring old Iceberg lettuce
