Where do you go to buy things , chicken feed , fencing all the normal stuff
Hassocks area!
Back in Wales there are 5 Farmers Stores in a 10 mile radius
Mole Valley at Heathfield.
Not much left now in the rest of Sussex, our local business is winding up at the moment.

The few farmers left get most things from Amazon or similar.

Oh, really sorry to hear that. I love Channons, but I have noticed how quiet it has been on recent visits so I did wonder. Unfortunately my small purchases of chicken feed and bedding are exactly that... chicken feed. It is so hard for small independent businesses these days. 😟

Do Marketplace to Chesnut Fencing @Clive

Do you really want to buy chestnut fencing just on price, or would you rather discuss with the supplier and buy winter cut stuff?

No doubt the price on the soft stuff would be unbeatable though.👍

A bit like buying cut price feed through a buying group, where you trust their ‘expert’ to choose which feed is of reasonable quality for the price.

Some things shouldn’t be bought on price alone, fencing materials are certainly one of those imo.
