Does anyone else thinks he has an awful lot of equipment. For example they have two combines but rarely run both at the same time as there is usually only him, his dad and his brother.
They generally run both in wheat and soybeans, maize due to the sheer amount even with several drivers they can't keep up. In a recent episode where they did on several small fields he said they would really need not only the three semi drivers but another tractor and cart the issue is finding the people or rather people you can trust to run the trucks etc which it a huge problem over there as well as here. Why run long dusty hours for less when you can work nine to five for more money, better health care and better perks transporting good from one warehouse to another or to stores. I believe it is also causing issues in forestry as well.

Families are odd. I think his parents were a bit annoyed/embarrassed by some of the things he put out. Personally I couldn't work with my Dad when I got older . My son and I have our fallouts too however I hope he feels the same about me as I did about my Dad which was 'it's his farm he can do what he wants'
I suppose it just goes to show that family farms can be bloody messy at times, I suspect that duffy's situation wouldn't be un common with or without youtube, I know I could have easily been in his position, me and dad had a real rough patch when my mum died, I was in my mid twenties but I'm older now and realise that life isn't always a simple as you'd like it to be, we get on ok for the most part now, even if somethings that really should be done don't get done.

God, olly’s farm has a new video and as cringe worthy as ever, i thought he packed it in. After a month of wood chipping I presume he decided to make a video, me the bigger fool for watching. Obviously he has the words tough times in his video title, just the 1 new John Deere this year so. He says his a farmer but after watching a number of his videos I seriously don’t know what he does for a living, really.

With other Olly's latest video I was tempted to comment that I believe there are a number of brands KY Jelly that stop squeaky knobs but remembering a number of the ages on the birthday bumper I thought better of it.

I’m not a livestock man, but how much time does the husbandry of 28 calves take up in a day? Sounds like it’s about 14 hrs…..

Got that toolbox powder coated though! 👌🤡

2 hours max if feeding twice a day. It’s YouTubers like him that are doing farmers no favours with the general public. They should be called out. The Americans are very bad with clickbait, seen some recently that YouTube through my way, soft porn would be a better description. Seen a video recently from this’ll do farm, pretty lady with skin tight orange pants. Watch it ten times and the get back to me lol. Desperate stuff really. Ads are getting longer too.

Just stop watching there's actually lots of good farmers on YouTube, working hard and trying new ideas. Stay away from those just trying to make money.
