Farmers earn more from YouTube than their crops

I asked him exactly that. He's meant to be zero till, direct drilling and saving the soil. But has bought that heavy thing. Presumably to drag a sumo through the soil.

Will be interesting to see what it's used for. If it's one he went to see a few weeks ago, it doesn't have a PTO. So can't use it to spread fertiliser or go on haybob.

Or go on woodchipper he's bought.

Anyway he's a cleverer lad than me, sure he has a plan for It that will work.

Some people might say it's too wet to be doing that, quadtrack slipping in places

Neigbour had a 390T 2wd a 398 4wd and a 3085 4wd the only reason they got shot of the 398 is it wouldnt lift the 3m combi they had bought. The 390T was a great tractor.
All massey farm from the grey fergies. Only a 590 remains today.

Loved the workshop update, the desk lamp and strap on tool box really makes it a well presented modern and highly equipped workshop 👍
The genuine John Deere Kramp polish filter kit must of saved him a fortune, well done Olly 🤟
Gutted we’ve not had an update from him with how he got on taking on the endless task of servicing the 6930! However it should be very straight forward now with the state of the art workshop (minus a 13mm spanner) the desk lamp will definitely come in handy though!

Quick update, haven’t got a funnel to put the fresh oil in, Mum is about a third of the way through her fairy liquid so should be empty around mid April so I’m hoping to get the 69 complete by 2nd cut 🤞

Don't know what he is spraying (roundup?) but how is it going to do any good an hour in front of the cultivator?

as shania twain would say THAT DONT IMPRESS ME MUCH , i think we could have got some of our spring drilling done in better conditions but i dont think it would have been right!

We just have a firestick as with buying enough through Amazon that it makes prime worth it just thought if I was getting the channels I might as well get the stick as well which I'm glad I did as while he didn't get to watch the second season dad loved to read including Lee Child and loved the series and the first Jack Ryan series though he wasn't so into the books the same with the Bourne series. Also enjoyed the Jason Statham films they had on there. Now mum and sister love it for the soaps on freevee🤦🏻‍♂️

I just wish they had an alternative with ad block on that as well
Download smarttube, its just a version of the YouTube app but it has no adds for the firestick. You will need downloader on your firestick to get it.

I suppose if you have the horsepower you try and bully it in.
I was more wondering if that spray would do anything or not? 🤷‍♂️

Why do you think it will not work?
Always thought you needed to let it work for a day or two before cultivating, is this not the case?
I only ask because I was taking to a sprayer driver yesterday who had seen the video and was chucking his ted, which got me curious.
Perhaps he was wrong. 🤷‍♂️

Yes a day is good or even longer,
But it does work on contact ,so if you cultivate, it should still kill it . Not the best way, but if you are up against it ,you will just crack on with the job ,
You need money in the bank at the end of the year.

It’s been on market for 50 years+ so it would’ve been used in this situation, a good many times by farmers .
