Farmers earn more from YouTube than their crops

Nice lad ,, needs a good tidy up , so do i must add … its not easy cash strapped agg .
A few properly hung gates around the yard to
Stop cattle breaking out probably wouldn’t go a miss.

looks like he’s needing RT to sell fat cattle to abattoir. Probably won’t have had it before if retailing all milk to the public

Depends how far you need to go with it , concrete and tarmac is dear very dear , nice sheds to keep kit in are dear …. Time is money ….
Sheds and concrete just encourage the untidy person to make a bigger mess really.
I'm more talking about tidying up, chucking junk out not making a mess and keeping your work area clean.
Some people love slathering around in shite though, Tom and his dad just don't see it, which isn't great considering how much contact they have with the public.
They are producing food after all.

There’s plenty of farms like that in New Zealand, ,but they just put it the paddock nearest to the road🤣 where all the tourists see it.😉

Yep no money for sheds to house machinery.
The dairy side is a good example, I've been on hundreds here, almost all farms are the same, milking shed, calf shed, water lagoon, bit of concrete, but some of them are all tidy and squared away and some you're genuinely scared to get out of your vehicle in case something eats you or you lose your boots in the shite. All down to whether you care or not I suppose.

It’s a job to try keep a yard tidy. It is here anyways. There are wooden sliding doors on the barns all need painting, corrugated steel barn that needs a coat of paint, strimming and mowing road the yard, litter to pick up off the road side, nettles to spray, guttering hanging on for dear life on one shed needs replacing. Trees to prune and keep in good shape. Pot holes in the concrete to repair. On top of all that a full time job as a fitter and then a side hustle of fabrication and welding on weekends. The farming part is done by an older family member who should be retired by now but won’t give up. So that means there are plenty of at home repairs! 🤩

Easy to say all of this but when you’re constantly busy it’s very hard to find the time to tidy up. I know you should keep it tidy but some of us just aren’t like that.
Most places round me are really tidy farms some of the bigger places are immaculate ! One particular large arable potato growing his steading is just unbelievably tidy and his kit is exceptionally well looked after , must take a hell of a work time and money but all well spent ! I think tidy farms sort of create other tidy farms and vice versa ……
