Modern way is to put your kids on the loan too so you dont have to live the length of the loan or cash up

I can see you are putting alot of thought into this. You must be tempted.It would probably carry more than 50 cows and 500 ewes. Although to get a higher turnover,i dont think suckler cows would be the best. Need to specialise in something a bit more intensive. That big shed has possibilities.Could feed alot of cattle in there. If you could get guaranteed subsidies for 30 years,and come up within a stones throw of £50,000/year,then it would be possible. But would AMC lend you the money?

They are stating to test this theory now with the vertical farm setups, think they said 4Ac site will grow 1000 Ac of crops if its to be believed .
Think you may be able to build more houses on 1000Ac tho than 4 Ac when the developers come knockin.....
