Fastest way to take down a dutch barn

Tbh if you can find a friendly scrappy with a grab/crane on their lorry on the floor is easier. They may even help you out with the gas axe if your not chasing the scrap money. Used to do a lot of petrol station canopy dismantling all done while up was a pig and time consuming always wished it was on the floor especially when the old man came home with my shiny transit covered in rust! He had been grinding the canopy and left it parked underneath ?

Thought about that but I'm getting a steel frame building for nothing and I told my mate he can have the scrap for helping

Work out your local yards £ per ton on scrap. The headache and extra work would probably make it worthwhile paying your mate some pound notes rather than give him the scrap it’s painful handing out money when there’s other options but now think how many discs your going to burn through getting through rsj and such. It’s not that clean cut but worth a thought

Did one 15 years ago on the farm. Cut the hook bolts off from below and pushed the roof off the end as one piece with the telehandler. Lots of the gutter bolts joining sheets pulled through when it hit the ground.
Didn't take long, not sure it's the safest though.

+1 we did exactly this 4 years ago, then ripped all the sheets off with a mini digger, we didn’t need to do hardly any hand work

Get a 360 and a demolition shear and chop it all into bits and put it in a big roll on-roll off metal skip from the scrapper? Be done in a morning surely and the operator could probably sort the materials as he goes. No hand work. No risk of accidents. Even a 13 tonner will have enough to reach to get a dutch barn chopped up and brought down in modest peices?

I’ve done a couple best is as above cut hook bolts off roof get it to the floor in big ish pieces. Frame cut the bolts gas axe take down pieces at a time. Tried ripping one down don’t do that it. There tougher than you think and you end up cutting it up any way but it gets twisted and spring loaded.
