Does anyone know what reliability is like some people are saying they are unreliable but I’m not finding to much to back this up
We run JD, MF and JCB. None are any more reliable than the others.
I’m sure they are better these days but I drove a older fastrac with demount years ago for a couple of seasons and it was tall / unstable on row crops and very heavy on the rear axel / light in the front. Ran a chafer and Amazone demount - Amazone was better as booms folded much lower and not over cab doors
Maybe with a stretch chassis or front tank to balance stuff plus the newer fastrac are loads better than the old ones with cvt transmission etc bet it would be a good machine
Been asking questions and researching 4220 fastrac recently with a view to buying a used one and by all accounts they seem reliable and well liked by operators
If you ran in crab your booms wouldn’t be quite so wide. Also I’m not sure you can run them in dog walk mode. Crab yes, but not sure about dogwalk.710’s won’t be to bad though as you could run in crab steer, couldn’t you?
