Fastrac 4220 and Demount for spraying

Like the idea of this setup is there many people out there using them what are all the pros and cons please

Does anyone know what reliability is like some people are saying they are unreliable but I’m not finding to much to back this up

We run JD, MF and JCB. None are any more reliable than the others.

I’m sure they are better these days but I drove a older fastrac with demount years ago for a couple of seasons and it was tall / unstable on row crops and very heavy on the rear axel / light in the front. Ran a chafer and Amazone demount - Amazone was better as booms folded much lower and not over cab doors

Maybe with a stretch chassis or front tank to balance stuff plus the newer fastrac are loads better than the old ones with cvt transmission etc bet it would be a good machine

Been asking questions and researching 4220 fastrac recently with a view to buying a used one and by all accounts they seem reliable and well liked by operators

Cheers that would be my other concern is the high centre of gravity but would be looking at for 2500l Demount with 1900l front tank. Am running a trailed 5000l Landquip at the mo so will look at there Demount

Can you get 710’s on the fastrac? If you know lol

I believe you can get 710s on 34 inch rims, but nothing bigger than that which is a bit of a shame... Could be wrong though

If you ran in crab your booms wouldn’t be quite so wide. Also I’m not sure you can run them in dog walk mode. Crab yes, but not sure about dogwalk.
