Grass sequesters carbon faster when growing, grazing, crapping and trampling builds soil too, which means there is more 'sponge' to capture carbon, as soon as you plough or cultivate soil you start to burn Organic matter which means less sequestration. I would quite like to see a comparison of vegan and 'normal' diet and the carbon footprints.

I like to ponder the statement 'Organic Vegan' occasionally. Organic Agriculture relies on animals, so any crops grown organically relies on animal inputs in one way or another, unless you are really buggering the soil.
Maybe the Vegans should go out and sh!t in their own garden before planting their vegetables, then they could say they are organic. I bet that wouldn’t go down well though.

Vegans who say that all dairy bull calves get slaughtered at birth are supreme hypocrites-they want a total ban on meat and dairy which would mean the slaughter of all cattle.

The OTT vegans views are turning most people away from veganism IMO

The BBC promoting Dairy.....wonders never cease!!

Im no longer convinced arguing back is the way forward the trouble is these people don't want to here any argument. They are right and that is it. They don't have the intelligence to get into a debate but have tunnel vision. Are we wasting time on twitter with back and for? Personally using FB and 1. not allow people to respond to post or 2. checking the response and accepting it or 3. deleting and bar/reporting people for distributing hate and violence. I have seen some shocking pages of endless trolling on a dairy page and thought this is no good because all you are doing it making the page hateful and any possible purchaser is going to be put off.

I think it needs a different spin with something more powerful in say April. or even looking ahead something for December?

We can't really blame vegans too much.. bare with me on this.. I did the vegan diet last year, the milk was awful, the cheese was stinky and hard, the synthetic food was rubbery and near tasteless.. so I at a lot of fruit, veg and nuts... I was tired most of the time, I farted about 30 times a minute and because I was always hungry I had to graze eat rather than have 3 full meals a day, my shopping bill went up about £50 a week ...

They are reaching out to encourage us to be a miserable as they are
