Feldspar thread

Come on Feldy we need another thread to keep us amused before the days get longer ,,,,,tho you farm in a different league to myself I find it interesting that you have similar problems to myself ,,,,, sh!t grain sheds , family partnership , not getting enough spraying done in a day ,,,,,, crappy old combines ( tin hat on )

So with lamma fast approaching what is on the shopping list ??????
Perhaps this should be moved to the machinery section
Maybe everything is done and dusted and Feldy Farms are a smooth running outfit and there's nothing to discuss

I have the pleasure of his company today. I am very good at winding up so hopefully I can force a new thread. 'This paper discussing the correlation of viscosity of four different types of ad blue and their relationship to BYDV infection in September sown annual Burgandy vines in svalbard'

Sounds like it might be a days shooting ,,,, if it is then try and get him on the quiet pegs all day ,,,,, give him some time to reflect on the merits of going back to 18 m tramlines and a yard full of 3 m combi drills

I think they only grow Riesling in Svalbard since the Great Aphid Plague of '07.

Most interesting things to think about at the moment are not for public discussion unfortunately.

Still chomping over whether to (partially or fully) switch over to liquid, chop three 24m sprayers in for one (trailed or SP!!!) 36m sprayer. Need to design a bowser. Need to work out how to boost harvest capacity (again) temporarily for this harvest. Need to work out the maximum acreage we can harvest with the biggest combine on the market for a few years down the line. Need to digitise the entire farm accounting and banking system before April next year. NEST pensions. Health and safety overhaul and implementation. How much more machinery to sell. Do we grow spring oats. Do we buy some commercial storage space or sell some barley at harvest to deal with expected under-capacity in the grain storage department.

Take your pick, although most has been done before.

Dull, what are the interesting things we can't talk about?!
