Fendt 516 and 4WD-error message (05.1.33)

Hi,

Suddenly started getting this error when starting the tractor. When i press the armrest-button for automatic 4wd, it goes out right away, and the error-message flashes. It seems that the 4WD on the dashboard is on. Anyone seen this? From the failure code section of the manual for this error code: "4WD clutch solenoid valve. Actuation fault. Consequence: 4WD engages."

Does this mean that it is stuck in 4WD? Easy to fix?

Have had to change 2 of the solenoids on my 415 for PTO speed selection and 4wd, not hard to do if it is that. On my 415 you could swap them around to see if the problem changes to make sure it is the solenoid.

Replaced the solenoid and everything was back to normal, no way around it

I know fender parts are expensive, but
from when started the thread did you run around in 4wd for near 5 months before deciding you'd just have to shell out for a new solenoid?

Hehe no, been a while since i was in here, thought i just update the thread if anyone else ever came looking for a quick-fix.
