I concur. The sooner they bring in compulsory testing of trailers and up max gross weight and speed the better.

trailer manufacturer s will make a fortune.
I assume you mean testing of TRACTORS and trailers? Not much point having a shiny new 18 tonne stewart silage trailer fully tested and then attach it to previously mentioned 165 or 4000 with dodgy brakes !!!

Do you think anyone would buy a shiny new 18t trailer and put it on a 165?
