Fendt error code

2002 fendt 716 bringing up error code 4.1.A1 and loosing ability to change speed or direction. The book says error is control unit error mechanical stop. What would the problem be and how is it sorted? All knowledge is very welcome. Tia

Open the flap in the floor and you will see the hex where the manual drive lever goes onto the control motor spray this with wd40 and rotate it with the manual drive handle or a socket to free it off its probably seized .

Had to drive using that and it turned fine. The sensor at the range change was loose so tightened it and shes ok for now but if thats her sorted remains to be seen yet
