FendtONE - The task management system from Fendt

This system lets the person in the office send jobs to the actual machines and operators can record what is done and send it back?

Will make isobus compatible implements even more important I guess. Does isobus add a lot to the cost of them? I presume JD and CNH have similarly ISObus compatible terminals?

ISObus is standard now really on these machines.

The ability to send/receive jobs to and from the tractors has been there for years too, but is fairly clunky when integrating with your backend FMIS (like GateKeeper etc).

This new update, basically slickens it all up - no longer clunky, feeling like something from 1994. It’s very well thought through and could be run as a stand-alone system if you didn’t want the other stuff that’s in a GateKeeper type product.

Saying that it will (in future) still integrate with whatever legacy FMIS is being run via AgriRouter (and independent company) should that be desired, though that’s all being worked through as they want to try and make it brand agnostic and multi-colour fleet capable.

Yep, just to be crystal clear on this, it is the “off-tractor” Job Management / ‘Farm Management Lite’ element of FendtONE will be available with current/older tractors that are ProfiPlus (with the current VD03 steering control / VarioDoc Pro capability). Older ProfiPlus machines i.e. pre-2016 that run VD02 controllers, may not be fully compatible. Trying to get that 100% confirmed.

That said it will be possible to integrate FendtONE with these tractors to send/receive jobs using VarioDoc Pro.

Orher than sending and receiving jobs/tasks, as above, the “on-tractor” element of FendtONE will only be available on the new 12” screens and software etc. It won’t be possible to upgrade older 10.1” terminals to run the “look and feel” of FendtONE.

fits with what they told us at the show
