They won't drop the price till all current orders for spring application are out on farm and paid for. They dropped it a few years ago early and people that had ordered and even taken delivery and not paid, just turned round and said " we don't want that "

Paid below £150 for Pulan, (buying group) July.

Wheat not sold yet, will we get more for the wheat ......(non assured feed wheat.....)
To be fair, the wheat wasn't just sold to pay for the fert (mainly as some is on Feb payment terms) much of it was sold to cover the purchase of store cattle and my wife's new car!

How do you find Pulan? Not keen on it myself, even on 18m

As we are only humble mainly livestock farmers spreading at 12m and after dropping from GB to Lithan about 8 yrs ago the merchants we spoke to 2 yrs ago said that the Pulan was as good now, so we dropped again. No one in our buying group has complained about it. As all our fertilised land gets fym or slurry as well and the silage leys also have clover in then N application is never going to be 100% accurate anyway and bag N is only part of the total.

Local ring have bettered all but the 0:16:36 by a couple of quid, but somewhere near the mark it seems.

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.

This webinar will be...
