Just for info, price on friday for urea (46.0.0), central prairies of Canada, 100t delivered to farm straight from plant, $540/ton equates to 318.60 UK pounds/ton, pay march.

Our fx rate is low at the moment , if the pound was 1.30 to the euro the price would be similar .

Hmmm........well I obviously ordered my fert at the most expensive time possible. £311 / ton for single top. A combined seed and fert cost of nearly £160 / acre just isn't sustainable. FSS for next year me thinks.

Origin blend 20.10.10 looks a better buy at £279 or £284 with CAN. Yarra maby good but not sure its £30 ton better.

Yara works better for me I’ve had nothing else for years. Origin looks a better buy but if trying to grow a crop in challenging conditions probably not.
