CF did however call Force Majeure earlier this week on a 500,000 ton urea order in the US.
Last summer gas was cheap because of oversupply on the back of large industry closing due to covid and warm weather. So gas production was curtailed as a result and now supply can't keep up with demand.
Yara have said that the cost of manufacturing a ton of CAN have risen by around $200 in 6 months.
It still pays at these prices.Starting to look like an opportunity to do a low n trial.

And you believe a bbc article?One thing is for sure and that if the UK livestock industry ( be that pigs/ chicken/ beef etc ) are bought to their Knees then the UK arable industry will also be bought to their knees at the same time or very soon afterwards!
