Well at least CF etc, now know some farmers are happy and eager to pay £750 urea equivalent, and think they've had a bargain, and finance it for nearly a year before use; and so they have no reason at all carefully to consider where to start off new season prices. We have done the work for them.

The earliest I have ever bought before is June, but usually August / September.
Took the view that the price was better than expected and wanted to lock in on availability.

Right up to a point - except that we have sharp rises in base fert and diesel to price in as well (also general inflation at 10% or so).

Cancelled a load earlier on at £175 as I thought 5k for a load of chicken sh!t too expensive…..but maybe I shouldn’t have as it is apparently bad to get a hold of now.

There's 4ac of spreading in each ton on my price, so about £200/t for the product?

Still cheaper than the alternatives in a bag, and works well as a base fert here.

Yes I've just seen that 50% bps payment by the end of July, now we are out of the EU this is allowed.
