We run a KRM L2 at 24m which is a great machine; paint is nearly perfect after about 12 seasons and we're on the second set of vanes. They're very accurate if you take the time to set them up and the mechanical bits seem very robust. Only word of warning would be to pay close attention to the actuator ram; it's electronic and works brilliantly until it doesn't and then it's expensive to replace at around £800 from memory. It's only available from KRM (a few of us have tried sourcing it elsewhere and failed) and may be the reason some are being changed. Having said that we took our actuator apart and rebuilt it; it's done a couple of seasons like that without any problems so they are in some instances bodgable.

If we were changing our machine the KRM would definitely be in the running again; I really like it.

Amazone.....been running them for a number of years... plenty of good secondhand ones about. There's other good spreaders about, can only speak from what I've used. Current one has variable speed control. 18m is a nice distance to accurately spread I think....I spread everything at 20m on grass and cereals
