had a phone call this morning, telling us we had arrears going back 5 months, to us, odd, had they previously informed us ? no, so how could we know there was a problem ? The computers wont churn out a letter, for the amount of money in arrears, why ? the amount is to small, how much ? £2, interestingly we had a letter stating we owed £146, followed the next day, by a credit note for £146, which is the cause of the arrears, it's a management charge, and should have been £148, all bloody trivial, until, you realise, the computer will register you, as 5 months in arrears, on your credit score. Suddenly, it is a big issue, and until someone removes it, it will stay 'on' the system !

manitou finance, bloody stupid, cost way more to sort it out, and must have been their cock-up in the first place, as its all set up dd, other than the original deposit, 3 1/2 years ago, which means it's nearly paid for !

Tell them to sort it as it was their fault, and if they haven't done it by the end of the month, you have the financial conduct authority on speed dial.
