My sons are just restoring a 784 i will put some pics. up when I can, there is a couple on the workshop forum of it.One of these with a perkins in, 1977, had a 784 in 1980, not on the farm any more, shame really.
They did,t cost as much as a house back in the 70s, 80,sWe used to buy 1 new tractor every year when I was a kid !
Times change
And the little yellow plastic pipe do the PTO shaft!! Worth a fortune now boxed!1984 Ford TW35 powerfarm.
The delux version. Took 2 AA batteries and drove itself. God that was awesome when I was 3
The TW35 was good but the really big farms had a County 1884. I had one of these 30 something years ago1984 Ford TW35 powerfarm.

Wasn't far off I bet, even around here you could still buy a cottage needing work for £18k in about 1980. How much would the likes of a Roadless 118 or a County 1174 have been new?
That's pretty special
I always think folks with pre-War tractors and still in their possession have a real bit of history
My Dad grew up in Essex and saw farmworkers who were horsemen and had to learn how to repair and maintain the US war support tractors that came in, so your's at 1932 predating it is pretty unique

My great grandad bought it, my Grandad told me he ploughed a 12 acre field with it and a single furrow plough in a day when he was 12 years old. Grandad hated horses couldn’t wait to see the back of them.
It’s in our main shed so I pretty much see it every day. I couldn’t see a reason to sell it.
There’s a lot of history about here, it’s our centenary year being at this farm. But We’ve been involved in farming since the 1600’s (as far as records go back) so quite a challenge to keep up the tradition.
Back In 1994 bought a new Massey 3075 dynashift, was a great powerful we tractor,
Bought this Renault in 2001 still got it and it’s done 2830 hrs
