A friend of mine has installed a couple in to Deutz Tractors, and the feedback seems pretty good tbh. That said, I will soon be able to offer a competitive system for very similar money.

Will this work for non AGR tractors and please say the OE steering wheel can be retained....

Unfortunately @ColinV6 it is very difficult to keep the original steering wheel, as there would be a requirement for an adapter plate to get it to fit. It would not be impossible to create a bespoke solution, but this would ultimately add cost to any electric steering system, no matter the brand.

Have mine installed in my Deutz X710 for about a month now, absolutley love it. Used it for dung spreading, cultivating, subsoiling and about to use it with the Claydon if the weather cooperates The base station has excellent coverage, I just stick it in the fence outside the shed door and it covers the farm even when not in line of sight due to hills which is impressive. There’s a few features I’d like to see developed for it like numbered track lines, configuring headlands and perhaps a switch sensor on the terminal to initiate the in/out of work (record) function that would be signaled from the ISO 11786 7pin port in the back of tractor cab triggered by the hitch position or even the PTO spinning.. all in all for the money & reliability and no RTK subscription fees it’s hard to beat.

Still waiting on a replacement data SIM card..... Grrr! So cannot complete my rather long winded install here. SIM Ordered last week.... :( Possibly should have gone for Radio, in the end but .....didn't.

Question for those with a working setup please. The power steering is VERY sticky and stiff with the FJD wheel installed on my Kubota, but as said, not in full use yet as autosteer... Does this stiffness go once the wheel is powered up? For confirmation, no issues with the OEM steering wheel fitted.

Else I will need to refer back for the tech support again. ;)

The steering is easy on mine, although it does feel different with the slightly smaller steering wheel compared with the original, wouldn’t call it sticky though.
Ta. The small wheel is a lot smaller than the OEM wheel here, I will agree. It just doesn't seem to rotate smoothly for me.

I wondered if I had put a bit of pressure on the wheel with the bracket I had to make for the stabiliser on the wheel assembly but cannot see an issue, but will take a closer look. Will have a bit of a chat with Support once I get the SIM installed if necessary.

Just wondered if pushing power through, maybe made a difference...

Been using my FJD for drilling last few days, doing a fine job. The one feature that it really needs is the ability to track the headlands boundary or create track lines inside the headland that parallel the field boundary that the Autosteer can follow. I have to run round odd shaped fields to grub out a track where the outside 12 min tramline will go for the drill guy to know where the in-field ends.

FJD guy said this was coming ( I think we commented on this a bit back) but the updates not yet there then?

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.

This webinar will be...
