Going to take advantage of grant and get crush for other farm, we have a GDS and are relatively happy with it
Any other recommendations or ones to avoid
It will be for smaller 500 to 550 kg cows

I would stick with the same one as you have if it gets the job done and you are happy with it. You know how it works and have a routine from working with the first one. It took months for me to get used to a new routine on a new machine when we upgraded. I would be worried for myself that by running different machines on two different farms it could disrupt some of the natural work routine you are used to if the new machine has even slight differences from your original. Also with identical machines you could rob parts from one to the other if needed.

I bought a dp Agri largely because it’s all left outside and exposed. I find the trimming position a little disappointing if I’m honest and should’ve plumped up the extra cash for it to lift up.
That said imo money is far better spent making the handling and flow of cows to the crush work. We need to invest some money on handling system to make it much more workable.
