In a real working environment what wagon produces the shortest chop. I know knife condition and sward presentation all make a difference but what machine and model chops best in all conditions
In my experience a Bergmann Carex has the best, short chop quality BUT it was a brand new wagon.
My own well worn Strautmann gigga vitesse would be close behind the Bergmann.
Had Lely and claas wagons here in the past, both achieved a good consistent chop quality but a ever so slightly longer chop length.
In reality there isn't much difference between each if the different brands.
Never had a pottinger here so can't comment on one of them.
The main thing is to make sure the knives are sharp.
