Forager NIR accuracy?

Looking into putting an NIR tester on forage harvester. Are they accurate? Worth the price? Do you find value in the information?
Most interested in the accuracy of the component testing, moisture, and yield calculating. Put up 10k+ tons between grass and maize silage.

yes they are very accurate, most systems need calibrating but very good once done. What system are you looking at and what forager? Not sure if anyone on here has 1 themselves but their contractors may have it? Is it for your own forage or are you contracting for other people - I can imagine most customers wouldn’t pay extra for NIR analysis to be done.
