I know what you're saying but if I've to split it for a clutch swap I might be tempted to swap a 50 year old smoky engine for one a little younger.Could you not just hit the engine plate with a flat punch, to make the 03E look like a 12E? Or did you ever consider recreational block punching? Think there is even 0 to 9 number punches on E-Bay, apparently ................
Cabs are a nightmare in these older tractors. There's more 8100's around than you'd think, a lot were converted to 4wd with Schindler axles. Even after I've finished this one it should be cheaper than a 7810.didn't know there was a 4x4 8100
a mate has a 2 wheeler one , only one I've ever seen.
his cabs going rotten tho. gonna cost him some to sort.
ure back end looks different from my memory , don't think his has assistors ?
his has a pick up hitch
Is this one the missus knows about
one of themIs this one the missus knows about
As long as the drawbar goes up and down it's good. I'll cope with the 10 series hitch. I know a man at Gisburn.i need to type faster, a 40series hitch would be good, not correct for age of course

40 series swing back hitches are often worn.
My mistake, plate says 2714E, probably industrial engine as out of Hymac digger I'm told, different sump.Am I right in thinking that those were made by county? Nice tractors anyway, could you be meaning 2715e engine? Never heard of a 2712, think dad has a manual for them somewhere so ill have to dig that out
