Confusion will be my fault  by sills I mean the bit between the top step and the cab floor that goes round the front of the cab under the front lower windows. Early ones were blue but they changed to black at some point

Another piece of useless information from the parts catalogue (you would know I've got a mountain of book work to do).
First of the blue roof 40s were May 95 but they started fitting the 8 stud or fiat front axle in January 95.
Wonder if the colour of the front sill on the cab was changed from blue to black at the same time as the roof colour changed? Anyone got a white roof with black sills?
I have a Feb 95 "M" reg 7840sldp. It's a white roof and has the black sills, older style front axle though. She came here brand new so it's right enough.
Mate had a 7840sle at the same time and it was the same, black sills.
Never seen a white roof fiat front axled one.
I remember being well p!ssed off as they announced the blue roofs just after I had got it home, rep must have known and said nothing.
How long did the blue roof "Ford" ones run before they changed to New Holland on the bonnet.

We had a 95 "M" reg 7740 sle. That had a white roof black sills and the new type front axle. We also had a 93 "L" reg 7740 sldp was doing 105hp on the shaft when they put it on the dyno when new. That one had mods when new to the clutch could've had clutchless shuttle added but father wasn't to worried, remember it being fairly jumpy before the mods. Only got a 98 "S" reg 8340 left now its currently on 13500hrs and not going to leave anytime soon.
