On a separate quite irrelevant matter...... In your last picture bob........ the Howard 100 is spreading on the left side. Never seen any make of side spreader that spread on the left. Now I know it's only a picture on a table mat(I think) but the exhaust on the 135 is on the correct side so I wonder why the artist got the spreader wrong..... Or did he/she?

I have one that should fit but you will have to drive here to use it, its only an 80 mile round trip  I plan to be at Edmond, Newport Thursday evening if that makes it any easier..... and there will be crop trials, hog roast and beers... (y)

Irwin bolt grips got them off daughters car when it came without the key.
Don't ever let anyone use a windy gun on the sort with pins.
I had a major fall out with an idiot in a tyre place over that one!

I've ended up trying to figure this out, I've Googled pictures of Rotospreaders and they're all right hand discharge and when you think about it the pto is being spun clockwise, the poo gets flung out by the flails using the hood at the top to direct it out sideways. If the rotor was spinning the same way on a left hand discharge it would be flung straight up so there must be a big old change of direction gearbox to run a left hand discharge spreader.

Now I'm generally rather easy going and non violent cross the road to avoid a fight type of a person
However,
Should I happen to meet the person who invented these locking wheel nuts could someone please send me a prison escape kit

Nobody has to keep them on! I removed mine, as knee deep in mud up the forest is the last place I wanted to be faffing about with bloody locking nuts.(y)
