Aye-up, I'm in for a hiding....Naughty[emoji85]
If it needs draining @Clive then mole draining is an option
I'm sure if you sprinkled just 1 tonne of the magic prills over the entire area it would instantly transform the whole place into lush, rich acres, improving the drainage at the same time.
It's great.
Take it, lots of quick fix sorts poor indicesIf you were offered rent free land, no BPS ................BUT it was utter shite, i.e. terrible drainage, zero indices of most nutrients, not kind to work etc
would you take it ? and what would you do with it ?? (assume you are an arable farmer and it must be cropped)
I guess the prilled limes are probably the right thing for FBT's and short tenancies really where you probably won't see the longer term benefits of the bigger stuff - nutrition for the crop and not the soil
We've go a lot of that type of "soil" is it heavy over sandstone or light.no mole drainage around here - the "subsoil" is sandstone !
Sign me up to the free land in Shropshire! We must have sent a warring skirmish to Staffordshire!Well there's no land going for free round here, must be a different world in Shropshire.
