What is everyone paying to slaughter, and cut up a lamb, beast at a licenced slaughter house.I dare not put the figures on here that someone told me we’re been charged locally.A stiff whiskey would be required ,or in my case tea with plenty of sugar for shock

£50 kill and cut, vacuum packed and labelled. By no means the most expensive around here but they do a good job. It us tricky to find a reliable butcher around here and out of the few we have who will take private kills half have v dubious hygiene standards.

cutting up and packing beef is a different game altogether.
wouldn't be surprised if you were quoted £500 for that.
Ours work it on weight and from memory a 300 kg (dw) is £400, which seems good value as most of ours go otm so the kill charge is double. If we want beef burgers made, that's extra but otherwise that all packed and labeled.
