Hi,

This happens when an unknown EID tag is identified in the parlour, and the milker enters an animal ID (brand) into the corresponding keypad. It was originally designed for situations where no previous animal records exist electronically - in these situations, the process would be as follows:
  1. Apply an EID tag without recording it or the animal number.
  2. When the animal next enters the parlour 4 zeroes (6 for very modern systems) would appear on the corresponding meter as animal ID. The farmer would then enter the brand number on this point.
  3. Crystal would link the tag and the meter-entered brand number & store in a temporary location
  4. The farmer would review and accept this information, at which point those records become permanent in the main Crystal database.

You can see this list by viewing Browse>Add animals

You can then review the animals as shown below

You must enter a value for I&R number. You can remove incorrect entries with the "-ve" button and quickly add a batch with the "+ve" button. Removing all enteries and the clicking "Apply" will clear the warning when you start Crystal. Until next time...

many thanks for sharing this. it is still not what i am after . i wont to be able to extract data from the system as csv, excel or text format
If the data you want is available in a report, then the instructions show you how to get it as a CSV or text. If you want something not available as a report, If you go into Reports/Report definition there is a big selection of reports available. If what you want is not available as a report, then you will have to go into reverse engineering the backup files, which will not be easy!
