FYM before second cut?

I’m going to push on for a second cut this year, normally get away with just one but the dry spell means first cut is pretty light. I’ve got some very well rotted FYM from last year, will I be able to get away with a light application before second cut? Plan is spread manure followed by spring tine harrowing and fert a week or so later

It’s 2018/19 winter dung, was turned once in the shed and then transported, so turned again and has been sat in the field since

I wouldnt chance it will silage/haylage unless we have a very wet spell but it should be fine for some hay imo

Will be baled. It’s feed for out wintered Galloways so not the most fussy, although I’m sure they’d prefer not to be eating their own dung. I doubt I’ve got enough to cover all of my cutting ground so perhaps I’ll just do a few fields and see how it goes!
