Garden shed - Roofing options

I think my oldest roof is over 20 years old and, apart from a branch punching a hole once, has needed no attention.
To be fair i only have experience of it on stable roofs and it warped and sagged but the supports under it are to far apart so we put tin on and it has been fine, perhaps it needs the purlins closer to do the job

The original poster said that it was a solid roof which is why I answered. My old roof is conventional and the timber is to Onduline specs.. The other 2 are felt roof replacements.

another vote for onduline or corroline they look good and don't have the loud noise of tin but put plenty of purlins in! they are cheap so why scrimp there are guides online for pitch vs purlin spacing also can leeve the shed "breathable" if you want such as chicken sheds to stop ammonia build up but can easily be sealed with thin ply underneath if that is preffered for warmth?

We have the felt shingles thing on my mum chalet. But nothing really on the edges .
It leaks sometimes no idea were from t and g under the felt . Its set as one roof now
Next plan is to put tin copings on all the edges . Eves ?
Id put quality breathable under felt on and box tin it if it was me .
That corrugated sheet looks like wats on a static van that would be fine
Make sure the screws are into something good
If the wind can lift a corner of a sheet it ull have the whole thing off been there done that.

It sagged on my kennels with supports at 2 foot!!! Bitumen impregnated cardboard! Replaced with corrugated iron which is all I could get at the time. New stables roofed with box profile -- job done.

I built my own garden shed from timber about 20 years ago (apex roof) and put ply on then plastic coated box profile sheets and ridge and folded a gutter out the same material its still as good as new

I felted garden shed, apex roof 20 years ago, replaced several times, every big wind.
So last time put batons on top of joins, blew off Thursday morning. Moving to new house soon, will take shed but defo not felt it[emoji848]
lats on top normally makes no difference sometimes it gives it an edge to tear on and can make it like rot/weaken if its held wet all the time.

Did my workshop about 12 years ago with corroline and it still looks good. I just left the old felt on and corrugated over.
Only last week I eventually managed to convince a mate to use corroline on his shed. Two to three hours later job done.:D

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.

This webinar will be...
