General Election

But a lack of self belief - a sense of not being able to fit into or rise within a system that seems loaded against them, is pretty typical of the attitude of many disadvantaged kids, I think..

Why do you say that? Bright kids have always been able to achieve - refer back to our disagreement over grammar schools. I know too many from "disadvantaged" backgrounds that have risen to far above the median to be persuaded otherwise.

But Brexit is already decided. It is going to happen. Where else would you expect your vote to be counted? No vote is ever wasted. Did you see the result of Blyth South in the Northumberland County Council elections last month?

I don't understand the expression but...

"It ain't over until the fat lady sings"

No, I didn't but council elections could always throw up a strange one. However my old town must have been the one of the safest Tory seats since Adam and Eve.

But it was OK for him to host Ted Nugent in the Oval Office. Same Ted Nugent who said Obama should be hung, and he should "suck my machine gun".

No double standards there.
Been looking for this and the only thing I can find was he said that at his concert about the then senator obama so nothing like being put on the main stream media where his kids could see it

They cannot become Nurses and Doctors because HMG has reduced the number of course places and on top of this they've gotten rid of grants.

What has this got to do with someones ability. People from poorer families can get still get full grants but we definitely don't train enough of either group.

I await with fascination as to how many voters are prepared to back Jeremy Corbyn , it will confirm my suspicions that people are mating with vegetables.
He's telling folk what they want to hear....land tax....garden tax....Range Rover tax...upper class twit tax....
Meanwhile, TM blunders along...

Learn better the powers of Google and forget this habit of denying reality. Both were reported in "the main stream media", as well as his call to have Hillary Clinton hung, same as that dumb ass 80 something list that was punted around a while ago about non reported terror attacks.

People who don't read the news will never know what's reported.
