Siskin flag and leaf three curlier than a curly thing on sandy clay after grass. It's almost as if its reducing its surface area at exactly the same time I want to coat it with expensive fungicides.

81mm of rain here since January 1st, only 16mm this month. It is not looking pretty out there. Have stopped T2's as I think it will do more harm than good. Friend near Evesham moaning this morning because 18mm of rain in the last 2 days meant it was a bit moist for spraying....probably just as well he was 40 miles away!!

V dry here, and wheats starting to suffer. Bit annoying when we get 20mm and others nearby get 30. Or they get 5 and I get 1.
Glad I cut back a bit on N, just wondering whether to cut back on T2

I hear you...Saturday was 12 hours of frustration watching heavy clouds pass just to the north. 1-2 mm by 9 am and i thought we were on a winner. Nothing else the whole weekend.
Long back and forth with agronomist this pm...Elatus Plus into 12 month storage, Comet on order. Ear and Flag proline plus comet. Mildew protection here and there Possibly overkill.

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.

This webinar will be...
