Getting paid for straw ?

I'm no fire expert so don't know how fast it could spread through the stacks. But I've read wild bush fires can move at 60mph+.

I wouldn't chance it with my kit or anyone under my charge. It's just a bit of straw. Let it burn and keep everyone safely back.
A mate of mine who worked in Oz a few years ago said they had a bush fire and they could just about stay in front of it in the ute.

It’s a long way from the first too then furthest pile though from the photos… would of been very safe too start moving the straw from say the middle of the line and make a fire break kind of thing… but tbf they deserve all they’ve got having that much straw stacked that close together is just a disaster waiting to happen and if they couldn’t see it then they’re thicker than the average idiot
You obviously know them!!!!

I read that as free local delivery.....not free product.

An artic load is worth £300 in even the darkest corner of the uk, if up north it’s more like £700
Plenty places in the midlands doing it between £5ton and free too collect… last year they got greedy and wanted £15-20 ton and now everybody’s gone back to straw because it’s cheaper again so theyve mountains of it they can’t get rid of… obviously not biomass spec

I’m not sure there is such a thing as non biomass spec. The power stations seem to take most things now

I don't think its the proper stuff. I think thats waste wood only good for gateways. If its the same company then you can't officially burn it for often accreditation.
As far as I knew anything other than the wood chip dust screenings couldn’t be used but doesn’t stop plenty folk using it 😂

Having had an ofgem inspection I can assure you they check everything and any discrepancy will mean you are shut down payments wise. The fuel source is a big thing they go through with a fine tooth comb and will want to see order documents, invoices, delivery notes etc etc. They work back from the rhi meter readings and know roughly how much fuel you need so if the invoices don't match thats it.
