I have a fiberglass sledge handle to glue in

Its one of these here https://www.amazon.com/Temper-36-In...=8-4&keywords=fiberglass+handle+sledge+hammer

I got 2part epoxy with it, but unfortunatley during attempt 1 at install it leaked out so now I have to start from scrach again

Im not too worried about cleaning it all up nice and shiny, I have a die grinder for that

However I need to buy more epoxy, what would people recommend ?

The epoxy needs to glue the fiberglass handle to the steel sledge head

I drilled out the old epoxy which had glued it in, it had properties similar to concrete

there could be better stuff out there but ive had good success (not gluing sledge handles mind) with the gorilla 2 part epoxy glue you get in most hardware stores, iirc about a tenner for it.

I've just done one using a pack of this:

Be aware that you can't just glue the head on - you have to fit the handle tight with wedges first and then use the epoxy to fill the gaps and stop any movement between the shaft and the head.

Before anyone else comments, yes a hickory handle is cheaper and nicer to handle, but they don't last as long as fibreglass when left down a mine.

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.

This webinar will be...
