Glyphosate cultivation interval at this time of year

As above. I can read the can but would people allow extra time for product to translocate?
Yes I'd leave much longer this time of year, I'm probably going to spray some rape and rye stubbles that haven't been touched since harvest later this week. If I was a cultivations man I'd be leaving the rape 2 weeks and the rye at least a week before touching them. No hard evidence as to whether this is longer than needed or too short, just my gut feeling as to what would be needed for the chemical to get moved about.
What weeds are you spraying?

I sprayed in January once - it didn't work on some of the weeds at all, the agronomist says that some plants won't absorb glyphosate this time of year at all, they had to be actively growing.

Just saying what I was told.

I've done a fair bit in december before. Left it 14days. Worked well.

I sprayed roundup on bulbs at the beginning of November as I do every year and works fine, just takes longer maybe 4 weeks to see the weeds all yellow.

I sprayed roundup on grass on Saturday with a wetter, agronomist said try and give it two weeks before we plough it.

I wouldn't bother spraying any glyphosate in frosty weather. Need some activity in the plant to get any sort of result. Better waiting until we get back into some warmer weather.

Best discouraged until warmer weather I always thought but depends on the weeds involved. Best left several days in my view, long term grass wants two weeks from a pest and couch angle.
