For work? - Blue Circle heavy denim jeans. I take a 34" leg, they're about £14 each on eBay. Proper denim, none of this Spandex stretchy shite that seems to be taking over.
Actually the stretchy shite is pretty good as you don't tend to split the jeans on the knee like traditional ones seem to do. Also if you happen to put on a bit of girth, catered for you again.

Actually they rip far easier on wire than traditional, proper jeans, and offer far less protection. They are not as hard wearing either and they do wear out and go into holes. - without warning.

Wrangler or Levi here. The main complaint I have about Asda/next or anything like that is that the pockets are too fragile. A folded pen knife will cut through them in a day just by walking about.
Heard somewhere (maybe on here) that cheap jeans are stone washed with the pockets sew in. Therefore they wear out quicker as they are effectively part worn out when you buy them. Some of the more expensive brands sew the pockets in after stone washing, so the pockets last longer as they aren't worn out when new.

M&S stretch jeans, £24 a pair or lidl workwear trousers that are double lined.
I have the same problem, down to my last pair.
Boots are my issue. Buckbootz were very comfortable but were hell to get on and lasted 8 months before the sole came off. V12 are holding up slightly better but buffed through to the steel toe cap quick and have split up the side.
Anyone know of decent goretex boots that dont rot away?
