My mum and dad are really missing seeing them is there any idea when government will encourage contact again in the near future?

One is 7 and the other is 4. No health issues and both parents are looking after them, I hope come the autumn my parents can go and see them possibly. What age are they, do they have health issues that raise their risk ? We have seen one of ours often as mrs looks after him a couple of mornings a week. Adults need to think about what they want and any risk and make a decision for themselves.
Can you arrange a skype/messenger call with them? One is 7 and the other is 4. No health issues and both parents are looking after them, I hope come the autumn my parents can go and see them possibly.

Latest advice seems to be kids dont spread itMy wife would like to see our grandson, but my biggest argument, is that if one of us died after catching it from him, it would be very diffcult for him to live with.
thankfully daughter and SIL are not keen on contact
I dont think the teaching unions agreeLatest advice seems to be kids dont spread it
More like they are enjoying not working. So the unions dont like experts now, funny how experts are only supported when they agree with ones opinionI dont think the teaching unions agree

Of course there are many brilliant teachers that can and do inspire kids, but plenty of poor ones, and it's the unions that are shouting atm. Heard a head teacher moaning earlier, she just sounded like a typical jobs worth, lots of what problems were instead of finding solutions. Didnt mean to tar them all with the same brushIf you're kids go to a school where teachers are not working hard enough for your child then you need to contact the head teacher as that is the only way they can find out at the moment.
A lot of primary teachers working bloody hard with a huge push to get the kids somewhere near where they should have been amongst a raft of teacher training that has started for some and about to hit for others.
My experience is of primary school only, not sure how secondary is going.
there’re the risk in them seeing each other is absolute zero ! - it is impossible that either the kids or my parents could currently have c19
Actually, it takes about seven off - between infecting you and making you feel ill. It’s that asymptomatic spreader period which makes it spread so well around society.Danger doesn't take a day off... maybe the same could be said for covid!
