Grass identification if possible.

Its not a particularly good pic, yet can anyone identify this grass?

It seems to be establishing itself in one part of my field, its has a fine stalk with quite a bulbous seed head!

It looks like meadow foxtail to me, is your field relatively damp where it's growing?

Aloepecurus pratensis, I think it's called

Yup, definitely meadow foxtail, always the first to head. Loads of it in our old grassland. One of the lovely descriptive names.

I have alopecia which is how I remember the aloepecurus, as they look like they've fresh hair implants that have "just took"

Depends what you want , if you want full output it needs a plough under it , but if your chilled and just wants some soft hay that's easy to make then leave it be

I can see some blackgrass in that. Meadox foxtail in the main from what I can see. A bit of timothy in it possibly.
