Grass merger price

Anyone any idea the cost of a merger that can gather approx 9 meter into a centre swath. To compare with a class liner 2900 that is about £20000

Superb machines but think I'll just stick with the rake! Can we invent any more machines to make farming more expensive

I don't see what they do any differently to a rake? Yes, if you were moving lucerne all day it might have a use but what is wrong with a rake?

I cant see where they get the asking price from.
Much as that one on Grassmen video looks like a well made piece of kit, its basically two pickup reels and two belts.
The 3m one on the front doesnt have drawbars or axles and they are mental money too.

Their aim is cleaner forage , the whole reel can bend and go with the ground so the tines never scratch the soil. It’s suppose to have a very low running cost and a longer lifespan than a rake. Big money but a great machine.
