If i had to shut up more fields for 2nd and 3rd cut, i would need to house my highs at nights all summer as they wouldn’t have enough ground.
At least this way i get to drop my feeder off for a few months and i go into the Winter with the clamps mostly full of 1st cut.

A days training is not enough! It's an apprenticeship that you need to operate one correctly! There’s one of them laying in our yard somewhere. Maybe you could give me a days training on one?

I’m 39, lad that works for me is 36. Two years ago I was away on holiday in Feb. Feed box broke down that we fill a trough in a shed for 100+ cattle. He couldn’t fix it, no phone call to me, several heaps with the loader down the edge of the trough and 20min with one of them each end of the day, job done. I did it for 3 days when I got back while waited for parts. By the 3rd day, fitness improved and the only problem was the time it took. Felt much healthier. And Here's another weapon that chaps under 40 may not be familiar with View attachment 777170
